What is the difference between gorilla trekking and the gorilla habituation experience?
Gorilla trekking allows visitors to spend one hour with a fully habituated gorilla family that is accustomed to human presence. In contrast, the gorilla habituation experience involves tracking a semi-habituated group and spending up to four hours in their company as researchers and rangers help them gradually get used to human observers. It offers a much deeper, more immersive experience but also requires a higher permit fee and more physical effort. Please note that: Gorilla Habituation is USD 1500 in Uganda Gorilla Trekking is USD 800 in Uganda Golden Monkey Trekking is USD 100 in Uganda
